I wish I could give 3.5 stars overall. Food was very good (like a 4). My wife had lightly sautéed perch and I had the walleye. Ambience was lacking and the place could stand some updating. Not a very big beer list. I also felt a little rushed. We were in and out in about 45 minutes. Our server was very polite and delivered great service. I also liked that the owner or manager was there and stopped us on the way out to ask if everything was ok with our meal.

Teddy's is a great place for dining as well as drinking and hanging out with friends. They do a superb job on everything from their steaks to their pastas and always get the oysters rock!

Based on others' reviews, I was expecting much better. They were doing brisk business the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. The wine list by the glass was very slim, but the bottle list was huge and very pricy. The only Sauvignon Blanc by the glass was tasteless. The complimentary bar cheese tasted overwhelmingly of garlic powder. The frog legs were fresh and good although would have been better with a different sauce than what seemed like tartar sauce. We had the Margherita pizza along with a green salad. The green salad contained one cherry tomato, three slices of cucumber and a couple of croutons with all the dressing dumped in the middle. The pizza wasn't quite hot although the plate was hot, the sauce tasted canned and the crust was very soggy.

Outstanding service and meal. The perch/ribs combo was outstanding. Best perch I've had in years. Ribs falling off the bone and delicious. My wife had the prime rib and it was perfect. Great wine list. - Don't forget the best hummers you have ever had for after dinner. Very cool bar area - lots of Big Screen TV's -

So, if someone had told me this"Roadhouse" had amazing pizza, I would've rolled my eyes (sure!!) but IT DOES! Nice crust, great assortment of toppings. This is the best pizza joint in the area, That being said,I had their Fried Whitefish and Chips. Yummy. The fish was hot, crisp and tasty. Coleslaw excellent, not too much sauce, well spiced. Crispy, well seasoned fries. I was sort of unsure about the Teddy's Rolls, as they are an ala carte item but they are worth it. Nice garlicky crust on moist, hot rolls. No room for dessert! Our server, Kaitlyn, was very efficient and knowledgable. I drove by this place for almost a week before the almost always full parking lot drew me in. Thanks place is clean, has a nice varied menu, good service and has good food.

So I made a return trip to Teddy's. This time we sat at the bar and the bartender Tim was awesome. We had a variety of appetizers and cocktails that night. The service was great, the food was really good. I would recommend the Filet Sliders. By far the best slider I have ever had. The calamari was very good as well. The perch could have been done a little more for my liking and frog legs were just ok to be honest. A bit greasy but I wonder if the fact everything we ordered was basically fried had something to do with it. I would go back, but I would only eat in the bar as the service was 100 times better.

Very yummy, but a bit pricey. The whitefish was delicious. We tried it broiled and sauteed (with lemon butter and capers). The green beans, scalloped potatoes and cream of asparagus soup were also great. The bacon salad was ok, nothing special. The staff was friendly and the food came out at a reasonable rate. Very good overall.

I love pizza. I don't just like it... I LOVE IT!!!! I am also a vegetarian and am not a picky eater but I am health conscious and want my food to be hot, clean and delicious. Teddy Griffin's Roadhouse has a secret that many in Northern Michigan, and those who visit it don't know, but I am going to reveal it whether they like it or not... Teddy Griffin's Roadhouse has the best pizza in Northern Michigan! Hands down! Yes, the rest of their menu is amazing, but their pizza is the things dreams are made of. I well up with tears of joy just thinking about how good it is. The pizza I am in love with in particular is a simple mushroom pizza but it tastes like the most exotic gourmet pizza I have ever eaten. Sorry for spoiling your secret Teddy Griffin's Roadhouse but the people deserve to know how amazing your pizza is.

Great service, great food, very kids friendly. Frog legs well prepared; prime rib, ribs and perch enjoyed by all. Three boys-mac and cheese and chicken strips - what else do you need. We will be back!!!

I was told that the ribs were amazing at this spot, and my gosh they were! I ordered the ribs. They were sweet and delicious. The ribs fell right off the bone. I ordered a house salad with the meal, and it was excellent! Cant wait to come back here for ribs!

Our first visit to Teddy's was meant to be a Sweetest Day dinner with our 10 month old son. From the time we walked in the doors, the staff was friendly and accommodating, with several servers even offering to watch our son while we ate, if we were comfortable. Unfortunately, we never got that far since our son began crying and couldn't be consoled. Our server, Madison, was incredibly understanding when we had to leave shortly after ordering and packed up our entire meal even adding bread and butter). Meanwhile, several other staff members offered to walk the baby around, tried to play with him, helped pack up his bottles and toys and offered kind words when we were visibly frustrated with being unable to calm our baby. I can't say enough about the great service. The food was reheated at home and was still quite good. We can't wait to come back next season and enjoy the experience of an entire meal.

We stopped in late New Year's Day following an afternoon at Boyne Highlands. The bartender promptly "snatched" the sealed Boyne coffee cup from my hand citing his understanding of a Michigan open container law. He didn't ask me to finish it outside or even offer another coffee. When we told him he was being rude, he didn't seem to care and continued to defend his actions. We left and won't be back.

Visited recently on our arrival to Harbor Springs, sat on the bar side, ordered the "perch dinner for two" special, it was the perfect way to finish our day on the road from TC to HB for the start of our family vacation! Very attentive service from the owner, bartender and wait staff!

My family and I love getting to go or eating in at Teddys. My personal favorite is the salmon with dill sauce, but really every single thing is delicious.

A group of 8 of us came here yesterday for dinner. We were sat immediately at a round table which was perfect. (Way better then square tables pushed together) It took us a while to be greeted, then we wait about 10 minutes for our drinks. My drink sat empty for 20 minutes before I got the waitresses attention and at this point the whole table had to order another round since we knew we wouldn't see her for a while again. I had the filet- med rare. The cook was a little more done than what I would have expected which was disappointing. I would not come back here.

Good meals here, but not always great. It does have a nice atmosphere and it's convenient to Boyne highlands. Great selection of beer and the service is good.

Usually just get a bunch of appetizers to share. the tenderloin sliders are great and the horseradish sauce make it, so don't skip out on it. The froglegs are always a hit. If you've never tried them this is the place. If you don't like them here then you don't like them, but if you don't like them because you tried them somewhere else, give these a try and see if they don't change your mind. Perfect after a day on the slopes or a round of golf.

This was the closest pizza place to our rented condo. We were staying for the week before the summer season unofficially kicked off. I walked in with my daughter to pick up some carry-out pizza and a couple of salads. A nice looking family was standing inside the door and I assumed they were waiting for a table. The "father" turned, greeted us warmly, and asked if we needed a table. The experience started off on a high note. The friendly bartender took good care of us while another friendly man brought out our order. Everyone treated us well. The salads we ordered were a good mix of greens with no spots or wilted lettuce. Each salad was big enough for two people. The bacon was real bacon, you know, from a pig. I've seen too much of the fake stuff recently at restaurants. The pizza? I helped to run a pizza place in Chicago for years in my younger days and I was quite happy with this pie. The 16 inch, along with the two salads, was enough to fill my family of four. They also threw in some crushed red pepper and Parmesan cheese on the side without being asked. That was another nice little touch. Good service and good food.

Typically my experience is an somewhat enjoyable one at Teddys, but this evening it was anything but. It appeared the front of the house was to busy and no one had the time or interest to slow things down in the name of the customers. We received are order....right off the back our pizza was incorrect and they had to have the poor kitchen remake it. Our Ted bread was missing the Ted bread sauce that sets it apart from your normal bread, our hot wings were missing the celery and blue cheese dressing making them a bit hard to enjoy. But oddly I received extra cheese container for my already overly cheesy Cesar salad. Hmmm. If it is wasn't for the convenience of being right down the road, I probably would not return a this restaurant. There are many other very, enjoyable restaurants in the area, that their mission is to be sure their customers are taken care of and have a fantastic experience.

Greasy fried food & carpeting do not mix. Mediocre food, mediocre service, and a hectic atmosphere that is more anxiety-producing than fun. No one is having a good time here. Also, there are wasps inside, during dinner. How do wasps get indoors at night?

Had dinner there tonight. Was seated at a table just outside the kitchen. Not perfect, but a Friday night and they looked busy so we didn't protest. Started to look at the menu and realized the ceiling fan coupled with the over head lighting was creating a mind numbing strobe effect. Asked the hostess if we could move to one of the two empty tables and she refused. Shut off the fan instead. No one ever sat at the empty tables. Then we waited for 15 minutes for our first encounter with our waitress. She said the idiot hostess forgot to tell her that she had our table. Go figure. The rest of the night was great. Timely service. Great food. Based on my Chitown experience, not too bad pricing. Goes to show you, the first impression does not have to be a lasting impression, but if I was the shift manager, I 'd fire that teenaged mutton head in a heart beat!

Super delicious pizza! They must bake it in a real wood-fired oven because the pizza has a wonderful smoky flavor and the cheese is high-quality. The pizza is only listed on their bar menu though, so if you sit in their regular dining area you have to ask for the pub menu. My husband and I usually phone-order the pizza and pick it up to eat at home. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I can't say much about the rest of the menu.

Teddy's was a great find. Great food and great service. If you want the prime rib get there earlier as it sells out fast. The french onion soup was also outstanding.

Friendly staff and everyone enjoyed our meals. I am very close to giving this review 5 stars, but I guess the bill was a little more then I would have liked. This is a very popular spot in Harbor Springs and usually busy. Red Wing Bar as well, and that is always great!

Great food! Huge menu.....and the service was great. I have eaten here a couple times and not been disappointed. The perch and ribs are good. My wife had a pasta dish with shrimp, spinach and asiago cheese that was outstanding. I highly recommend this joint!
